"Billy Morgan has what Cork need right now"

Former Cork great - Billy Morgan

Cork should look no further than Billy Morgan in their search to find a replacement for Peadar Healy, according to Tomás O Sé.

Speaking on 'The Sunday Game' last night, O Sé argued that the two-time All-Ireland winning manager is exactly what the Rebel County players 'need right now' in the wake of their spirited showing against Mayo on Saturday.

"Too often in Cork, it's a case of 'who wants the job?' 'I'll take it! I'll take it! No, that's not good enough. They need to get this one right," the Kingdom great warned.

"I think Billy Morgan would be the man. I think you need someone of his ilk.

"John Cleary has been mentioned, Ronan McCarthy has been mentioned. I think Stephen O'Brien would be a great choice.

"But Billy Morgan has what Cork need right now. And that's put a bit of stuff in them. Get a performance out of them."
