There was action from both the National hurling and football leagues this afternoon.

GAA fans were in for a real treat as there was no fewer than 25 games taking place all over the country.

The Dubs had a good night in Croker last night as they defeated Cork in both hurling and football, while Cavan produced an excellent display to beat rivals Armagh in the NFL 2.

In the same division, Tyrone looked impressive as they saw off Derry, while in Div 4, Wexford were narrow winners over Waterford.

Clare saw off the challenge of Laois in NHL 1B, while Kildare drew with London in 2A, while in 3A, Tyrone defeated Warwickshire.

There was some cracking matches in both codes later on today and by this evening there is a clearer picture of promotion and relegation candidates.

It was a case of make or break for many counties and we endeavoured to bring you all the action as it happened.
