The Late Michael Ward The death occurred peacefully on July 15th at St Patrick's Community Hospital Fermoy of Michael (Mikey) Murphy, Corrogrum, Mitchelstown. The late Michael was well known in the local and surrounding area. He was well known in GAA circles being a very prominent goalkeeper with Mount Rua club in the 50s. There was a large attendance at the removal on Wednesday evening from O'Brien's Funeral Home Mitchelstown to the local parish church and also at the Requiem mass and burial on Thursday. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery.
