Nemo Rangers Luke Connolly celebrates scoring his sides second goal against Duhallow

Nemo Rangers 2-8

Duhallow 0-10

A dominant first half display paved the way for Nemo Rangers' 21st Cork SFC title at Duhallow's expense in Páirc Uí Rinn.

Two goals in the space of 30 seconds from Luke Connolly proved decisive as the city side withstood a second half comeback from the divisional outfit. Stephen Cronin played in Connolly for his first goal in the 22nd minute before the county star repeated the trick straight from the kick-out after Duhallow 'keeper Patrick Doyle had blocked his intial shot.

A Connolly free on the stroke of half-time completed a Nemo scoring surge which yielded 2-4 without reply.

Duhallow were much-improved after the restart as Nemo were restricted to just two points from Connolly (free) and Paul Kerrigan. Former county star Donnacha O'Connor and Anthony O'Connor scored 0-2 each, but it wasn't enough as Nemo prevailed once again before a crowd of 4,610.
