You may think when your team scores eight goals in an All-Ireland semi final that they are well prepared for the final, not so, according to Tipperary U20 manager Liam Cahill.

Tipp cruised to victory over Wexford last weekend and booked a place in the All-Ireland final where they will play Cork who they defeated in the Munster final last month.

Cahill’s charges looked very impressive during the win, but the experienced manager stressed to the Tipperary Star that they have plenty to work on ahead of the decider.

“I would be a bit critical of our aerial ability in around the square – that is very worrying when you see what is coming down the tracks against Cork,” said Cahill.

“We have lots of work ahead of us, there is no doubt about that, but an All-Ireland final is the place to be and it will be another epic game and another 50-50 match.”
