Waterford 0-7

Cork will renew acquaintances with holders Kerry in next Thursday's Munster U20FC final following a 31-point victory over Waterford in Clonakilty this evening.

Three goals in a blistering five-minute first-half spell set Keith Ricken's side up for a comfortable success in front of 983 spectators at the West Cork venue.

They came one after the other from full-forward line trio Mark Cronin, Cathal O'Mahony and Damien Gore who contributed 3-11 between them over the hour.

Waterford were 0-7 to 0-2 in arrears before Cronin opened the floodgates and things went from bad to worse for the Deise as they trailed by 3-12 to 0-2 at the interval.

The one-way traffic continued after the break with substitutes Jack McCarthy and Colm O'Callaghan compounding Waterford's woes with further goals in the 44th and 60th minutes respectively.
