Cork forward Declan Dalton looks set for a lengthy lay-off after undergoing a recent knee operation.

The Irish Examiner reports that the Fr O’Neill’s clubman will face a period on the sidelines for the Rebels as he gets set to undergo rehab this week.

Dalton featured in the Leesiders opening two rounds of the Allianz League but clearly won’t play any part this Saturday night against Munster rivals Clare.

Meanwhile, Cork GAA confirmed yesterday evening  that they will play the remainder of their home games in the 2019 National League at Páirc Uí Rinn.
