Munster GAA announces fixture changes

Munster Council has announced new dates for four fixtures in the upcoming Munster senior hurling, senior football, U20 football and U21 hurling championships.

The fixture changes were agreed on at a meeting of the Munster CCC last night. They are as follows:

  • Bord Gais Energy Munster GAA Hurling Under 21 Championship Quarter-Final - Clare v Limerick will now take place on Bank Holiday Monday May 7th at 5:45pm in Cusack Park, Ennis. The game will be shown live on TG4. This game was changed from the original fixture date of May 9th.
  • Munster GAA Football Senior Championship Semi-Final - Cork v Tipperary or Waterford. If Cork v Tipperary, this game will take place on Saturday May 26th at 7pm in Semple Stadium Thurles. If Cork v Waterford, this game will take place on Saturday June 2nd at 2:30pm in Pairc Ui Chaoimh ahead of the Senior & Minor Hurling Championship fixtures between Cork and Limerick. This game was changed from the original fixture date of June 3rd.
  • Munster GAA Football Senior Championship Semi-Final - Kerry v Clare or Limerick will now take place on Sunday June 3rd at 3:30pm in Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney. This game was changed from the original fixture date of June 2nd.
  • EirGrid GAA Football Under 20 Munster Championship Quarter-Final - Cork v Tipperary will now take place on Saturday June 16th at 7:30pm in Pairc Ui Rinn. This game was changed from the original fixture date of June 15th.
