Waterford will not play any home matches in the 2018 Munster SHC.
Na Deise had hoped to stage their two home round-robin provincial clashes - against Tipperary and Cork - at Walsh Park.
However, Munster Council confirmed tonight that 'due to the unavailability' of the city venue both fixtures will be played at neutral venues instead.
The beaten 2017 All-Ireland finalists will play Tipp at the Gaelic Grounds on June 3 and the Rebels a fortnight later (June 17) at Semple Stadium.
Derek McGrath's charges' other round-robin matches are away to Clare (May 27) and Limerick (June 10).
