Team news: Promotion-chasing Royals show no changes

March 16, 2019

Meath's Ben Brennan gets away from Mark Dempsey Kildare during the Division 2 FL clash at Pairc Tailteann.

Meath boss Andy McEntee has made no changes to his side to face Clare in today's Allianz Football League tie at Cusack Park (throw-in 1.30pm).

The Royals are joint-top of Division 2 and remain firmly on course for promotion after substitute Barry Dardis' late penalty saw them snatch a dramatic 1-9 to 1-8 victory over Kildare two weeks ago.

Centre-forward Ben Brennan is fit to start the Ennis clash, despite picking up an injury against the Lilywhites, while regular wing-back James McEntee returns to the substitutes' bench having missed the last two rounds.

Meath (Allianz FL v Clare): Andrew Colgan; Seamus Lavin, Conor McGill, Ronan Ryan; Gavin McCoy, Donal Keogan, Shane Gallagher; Bryan Menton, Shane McEntee; Cillian O'Sullivan, Ben Brennan, Darragh Campion; Bryan McMahon, Michael Newman, Thomas O'Reilly.

Subs: Marcus Brennan, Michael Burke, Adam Flanagan, James McEntee, Graham Reilly, Eoin Lynch, Barry Dardis, Ethan Devine, James Conlon, Sean Curran, Padraic Harnan.
