Clare manager Colm Collins is seeking a vast improvement in their performance against Kildare on Sunday.
Collins stated that his side lacked 'energy and zip' during their defeat to Fermanagh in the NFL Division 2 last Sunday.
A similar performance against the table-topping Lilywhites would end their interest in promotion to Division One.
And Collins has called on his players to put last weekend's display behind them and dig deep against Sunday's opponents.
"We have two games left now and we'll see what we can get out of those," Collins stated to the Clare Champion.
"We were outplayed and out-thought in a lot of sectors against Fermanagh. We've Kildare this Sunday and we'll have to lift it for that."
