Deegan welcomes home draw

Selector Mike Deegan is hoping home advantage will stand to Clare when they face Dublin in Saturday week's All-Ireland hurling qualifier at Cusack Park.
Speaking to The Clare Champion about the do-or-die clash, he said: "This one is very important. It's good to get a home draw. We would be hoping that the Clare public will come out and support the team. I am sure that Dublin will bring big support as well. Hopefully it will be a good night in the Park."
Deegan says the Banner are bracing themselves for a massive Dublin backlash after Anthony Daly's men were destroyed by Kilkenny in last Saturday's Leinster SHC semi-final.
"The Dublin we saw last Saturday is not the real Dublin. There has to be a reaction to their match with Kilkenny. I am sure they are very disappointed with their display and they will be coming to Ennis with every intention of performing to the best of their ability."
