Davy Fitzgerald would have been patrolling the sideline at Croke Park this afternoon if his Wexford team had held on for victory against Tipperary in the All-Ireland SHC semi-final.
Instead, he was a world away in Crusheen umpiring for his Sixmilebridge clubmate and referee Kevin Corry who took charge of the Clare IHC clash between Killanena and Eire Og which the former won on a 3-17 to 2-10 scoreline.
What a great GAA man he is!
