St Joseph’s Miltown-Malbay manager Michael Neylon believes that the side have a glorious opportunity to reach a Munster club SFC final.

Three years ago, Miltown went out to Clonmel Commercials in the provincial campaign and Neylon feels that they need to make amends this time around.

The Clare champions take on the winners of Adare (Limerick) and The Nire (Waterford), who meet on Sunday, in the semi-final.

Being just 60 plus minutes away from a provincial final is an opportunity that Miltown must grab with both hands, according to Neylon.

“That’s something we have to get our head around in the next few days. We probably were a bit disappointed in our last step out in Munster,” Neylon told the Clare Champion.

“In two weeks, we’d be hoping to do a lot better. We’re hoping to do a lot better. We’re hoping we’re a more mature team to be able to work hard and get a performance.”
