Colm Collins declared himself happy after Clare opened their Munster SFC campaign with a 12-point victory over Limerick last night.

"You'd have to be happy with that," the Banner boss told RTÉ.

"Especially the way they finished in the second half and I'm delighted to get over the line."

Collins was already looking ahead to a daunting provincial semi-final against Kerry on June 3 in Killarney.

"It is a big task, that's where we are going, no better arena than Fitzgerald Stadium for playing football, we will be really looking forward to it and we will give it our best shot.

"We will have plenty of work, there are lots if things to tidy up on but please God we can do that and give a good performance in Killarney," he added.
