Cavan won 2-14 to 1-8.Meath ahead by 3 at half time. Argue got both goals

Would not read much into it,it was a very experimental Meath side and 5 players(4 as subs) played that are not even on the panel.

I was at it. The weather was the problem.

Cavan did well but Meath were weak. Difficult to know what to make out of these matches. Jack Brady staking a late claim for a place on the team.

Sounds like a very weak Meath team played this game. We haven't had very competitive games leading into the Monaghan match but that's par for the course I suppose.

At least we are scoring :)
