Having watched our demolition by Tipp and with rancour elsewhere on this site about players and indeed the contribution by my old pal Sean o Rinn see below [b]This man came to Cavan last November he saw no championship football therefore would not have seen any players outside the loop so from now on he will have plenty time to asses what potential is out there and next year we can then judge the man it's totally unfair to judge him at this moment in time. Now I don't know the man so don't start saying what else would I say. Lets give him a fair crack of the whip then and only then start judging him. I have seen managers come and go several just did not have a clue or how to make changes but they just did not have it. I am of the opinion that Cavan GAA followers should insist that Divisional teams be set up.
It is a terrible thing that our manager did not see any championship football, so who was he relying on?
If we had Divisional football where every man would have to fight for a place it would give our manager and his team a great viewing point for selecting his team.
I say grasp the nettle get Divisional teams set up play games, championship style and showcase our talent to the manager

I feel that we need anew start to unearth new County talent. We have loads of footballers who should made the County team if given a chance and as a lot of the players are playing Junior A or Junior B not must exposure is given to them. I say get Divisional teams up and running

Where did II say that Junior B player could play for the County and not make the Junior B team.I was and I am on about Divisional teams see below from River Boy away over in County Mayo........
Players suffering with hamstring injuries is this down to bad strength and conditioning???"]In Mayo we have divisional matches starting in February north, south, east and west, county league matches start end March early April, championship end May, most of our pitches are swimming pools until mid June, having April as club month won't work, all that will happen is county players will go on holidays with the family, weddings involving county players or their families will take place in April, little or no club games will take place and guarantee by the time the All Ireland Final is played 99% of the counties still won't have played the club quarter finals
