It is an ideal time of the year to run a few divisional team games
You could have 4 division teams plus County champions plus the Gaels
3 games each weekend one Sat eve two sunday
it will showcase to our new manager Mr mc Glennan what talent we have
All for say yes

Burn out education rest give them a chance to recover for god sake. Right now three weeks or so of loads of U13 U16 and U21 matches to be played where do you plan to play these new games. 6th of November and you want more. Lads that played the last match tonight missed their lifts to college how clever is this. One man waiting for it to finish so he could drive his son to Limerick and a mother waiting to drive her son to Galway. Hard for parents and their lad's

It would certaintly give the new manager a chance to look at some of our players.

Hi Tom
There a few of us who play 5 a side soccer to keep fit. We are from 5 GAA clubs. It's an over 50's keep fit session. So there are ten of us and we can get a few younger lads in their 40's to join with us. So technically we have a divisional team.
Can you gather up some opposition for us to play ?

Tomsmith here

You are playing in an over 50 league.
this is supposed to be a series of games that open awindow of opportunity for Mr Mc Glennan to seek out new talent.
I say play it without any County men ie fellows that were in the County panel in 2016 would be debarred

I just wonderr what we can/would do for fellows that opted out of the panel for 2017.
Would the four who opted out be allowed to play a Divisional game
Can we get one organised and see how it goes
SOR you are near the nerve centre in the Park can you assist

Tom Smith the 4 that opted out have their own reasons most because of work how simple is that. The GAA will not pay their wages you know so they have other commitments to worry about. Stop being stupid if you want to play 0ver 40s go ahead and organise it most places entertain these games just pay the rent for the hour or two that you wish to book.
