I think it will be from within the county. And from the '97 team. Peter, Ciaran Brady or McCabe.

Time will tell. I've been scared by the poor standard of games i've seen in the senior championship. This is a critical appointment!

I made a post earlier but as usual hoganstand in their wisdom decided it was not for posting and there was sod all in it to offend anyone.
I will try again and change it a bit. Reformation why have you you just named three of the 97 team can you tell me whats wrong with the rest of the players who have got involved in management like King O'Reilly Graham Forde Cahill Carolan ect they all must have learnt something from the then manager who spends loads of time in the park as it is. Sadly there was only one man for the job but sadly things are not good with him and thats our great man Joe McCarthy.
Niall Lynch has won two senior titles Cieran Reilly has won two Senior titles John Brady has won two U21 titles an Intermediate title a couple of the U17 development leagues titles they know how to win so maybe combine the three of them and see how things go.
I say get Mr Hyland back so that Cavan don't go on the slippery slide to Division 3 in two years.
Too be honest who would want this job right now so my advise would be to ask Mr Hyland to hang in there and make sure that Cavan consolidate their position in Division 1 or bring back the 97 man and see what he can do with them if people think he is that good????.

If it was possible to get Sean Boylan in as an advisor for two years to help nurture potential managers it might be a step in the right direction.

I believe the Senior county panel does not need a manager and should be player run.
This will bring out the best in the team and make things very spicy come championship time.
What do you people think?
