Tomsmith here

I have been looking at former Champion teams in the past and it appears that Cavan Gaels record in staying the course seems to be the best in the past 20 years.
But in the Gaa world once a team peaksand new kids on the block appears no mention is made of the deposed team.
I feel that once a team has reached a certain high level say two/three Co championship in the past 4/5 years that the GAA should insist that a suitable honour should be bestowed on that team/club.
While this view by Tomsmith may be viewed as being biased in favour of Cavan Gaels. That is not so, it is only a suggestion or as in its hard copy it would be said a working document that can be tweaked

W can organise a marching band and a few td's and councillors. If we invite the GAA President, The President of Ireland and An Taoiseach, I'm sure they would all attend. After all they wouldn't miss the opportunity to pay homage to the Gaels.
We could start the parade at Breffni park, go down Farnham street and have platform for the guests at the Post office.
Meanwhile everyone could be line up along the route waving flags and when the open top bus passes, they should all either bow or genuflect to show they are not worthy in the presence of the Gods.

I would say he does not even go to a matches for if he did he would have seen the 3 in a row kingscourt team been acknowledged. While I am posting may I wish Joe McCarthy a speedy recovery it was nice to see you last Sunday Joe.
