Monaghan may have a few injuries, hopefully we don't have many to key guys. Can not wait, hopefully dry pitch from now until Sunday so that we can use our pace.

Sugar ! Dora... I screwed that up. just as well I'm not manager the. Yeah Mackey has to be there.
I guess then , either barry Reilly or Niall Mcdermott to miss out.

That would be a difficult call but Mcdermott has never let us down in the big games so prob go with him.

also Mcvitty very unlucky to miss out but you know, the team you finish with is more important than the team you start with (provided you don't leave it till the last few minutes to bring on your subs.

Thanks for the well wishes!

I think that there is perhaps an air of hope more than expectancy in Cavan at the moment. This Monaghan side has pulled off some very impressive results over recent times and it will take everything that we have got to turn them over but by no means is it impossible. I don't think Monaghan will fancy this as a first round tie and this Cavan team is most certainly capable of winning the game on their day. We are really hoping that recent underage success will translate to a more competitive senior team. I think that if we can dominate in the middle (and I think we will) then efficient use of the ball will cause the Monaghan full back line real problems. However we don't have a McManus at the moment. But I think this is a great time for one or two of our forwards to demand the ball and put their hand up as a new go to man!

I am expecting a very close game with a fair amount of spice and a Cavan win by 2 points!

Gilsenan,
McLoughlin,
Dunne,
Fflanagan,
Mcaveety,
Mcenroe,
Ciaran Brady or D Reilly or N Murray,
McKiernan,Mossy,
Mackey,
K Clarke,
M Reilly,
McDermott,
Argue,
R Flanagan.

I would play Killian at 11 and let him play a free role between our full back and half forward line.I would start Ciaran Brady. Also possibly use Tom Hayes as impact sub.Use Mackey and Martin Reilly as link men.Probably need to move Killian to midfield at some point though as Mossy possibly out of steam as he gives all he has.Move Killian to middle or Ml Argue.Good to have these options.I can't see Terry not starting Damien Reilly .

Very disappointed. Very annoyed in fact.
Looks like management opted for the qualifier route . Shocked at lack of changes and substitutions .
