Replying To The Quiet Man:  "Have to agree with you there has been many standing out over the lat 8 or so years but they don't get called in and if they do they are put through the conveyer belt. It's a means of saying we tried them but were not up to standard. I spoke with many and they never even got approached by anyone."
That's complete rubbish . Any decent player has been called in at some stage.
Name ONE player of county standard that wasn't asked. Just one???????

Replying To The Quiet Man:  "Where have you read that I have given Micky 4 months???
He has taken over a team that were brought back to Division 1 and this is only August so unlike Mattie who came in the middle of November 2016 he will be able to see what is available out there and also his selector D. McCabe will have seen these lads coming through the system for after all he was in with Gary Donohoe so should have a huge head start on strangers taking up the post. I hope the county board give them 2 years no more and if they fail get rid of them. They gave Mattie 20 months. He left Cavan as he got them in Division 1TRUE.
Micky has my full support he is a towny after all so why not."
Read again. 4 games not 4 months. It's in the last line of your message that I quoted.
Jim McGuinness and Mikey Harte could be a management team over Cavan this upcoming league and still get relegated. Mickey Graham should not be judged on that, infact if he keeps Cavan up it'll be an unreal achievement

Yes 4 games I stated the first four games in the league not the McKenna cup? the league. They have almost six months to prepare a team for the league Mattie got no time remember that and in a total of 20 months he brought them full circle back to the top tier. If they Cavan cannot compete in the top tier how will they be able to compete in the super 8 should they ever get to it??

As it stands they won't. We keep getting tanked by Roscommon and look what happened to them in the Super 8. I'd settle for one decent Ulster championship game win at this stage

You are easy pleased, had the better players been played instead of been sent home Cavan may well have won several games since 97. You play the weakest you deserve what you get plain and simple. You hang onto the malingerers you get what you get. I hope Micky opens his eyes that he does not allow the back-room team to call the shots things will be fine but should he leave them do the talking Cavan will go no place fast this is a guarantee. He had first hand experience of this when he was manager of his club team so I hope lesson learnt. I hope John Denning stay's with him for he has a level head.

Simple as this Sean, give the man a chance. Save your concerns until after we see the results and performances.

Yes I think fella mind your own business. The beauty of being a GAA member a club member I am entitled to have my opinion and people like you will not shout me down or shut me up either. I wished Micky well and I meant it unlike many that are waiting for his downfall. Yourself might come to mind for starters.
Now can you drop it and stop worrying about me and my views for I am sure the forum members don't need you and others confronting me every chance you get to disrupt a topic.

By the way go back to page one and you will also see my post after the league we can see what direction we are going.

Might be a few interested Cavan people casting an eye over the Senior semi-final in Longford this Saturday. Mullinalaghta, managed by former Clonguish manager and new Cavan boss Mickey Graham coming up against Clonguish, with his new partner in the Cavan set up Dermot McCabe, training them. Clonguish also have new Longford selector Paul Barden still playing with them.

Corey is not the S & C coach he is just the coach. In july the county board advertised for a full time S&C to cover all grades so what i was wondering is was this appointment made yet.
