Ladies Victory..  The cornafean ladies continue their recent good form with a comprehensive win over Lavey at the weekend in the division 3 league.  Full time score Cornafean 4 11 to Lavey 0 - 8.  Well dones to the team and management on a great performance and hopefully this will continue throughout the Championship.  Next up for the ladies is the 2nd round of the Championship on Wednesday 2nd August at 8 p.m. in Cornafean when they take on Killygarry B.

 

Intermediate Championship .....We wish the lads the best of luck on Sunday in Virginia when they take on Shercock in the first round of the Championship.  Throw in at 3.30 p.m. please come out and support the Reds.

 

U14 Division 4 League Champions....Well done to the Cornafean U14 lads and Management team on a great victory over Naoimh Brid (Dumalee/Butlersbridge) in the Division 3 League Final on Saturday afternoon last.  It was a greart all round team performance and the lads fully deserved their victory.  Emmet Martin accepted the cup on behalf of the victorious team.  Great credit is owed to the Management team of Donal Brady, Andrew Wharton, Padraig Woods, Niall Sheridan.  Full report in next week's celt.

 

Cavan Ladies..  Well done to the Cavan ladies who defeated Laois in their All Ireland Qualifier on Saturday and we wish them the best of luck this weekend when they take on Waterford.
