UNDER 12 BOYS:

Under 12s are continuing their spring league on Friday evening in Mullagh @7pm against Kingscourt. They had a one point defeat to Bailieboro last week score 13pt-12pt after a hard battle. Team is continuing to grow stronger and improve.

 

 

UNDER 16 BOYS:
Last Wednesday night U16 boys played Louchoughter Gaels away in Buthlersbridge.A good performance in a closely fought first half but unfortunately the second half got away from us and we lost the game. TrainingMonday night in Cross at 7.30. Next game away V Swanlinbar on Wednesday at 7pm.

UNDER 11 GIRLS:

U11 girls have secured a place in the semi finals thanks to their outstanding performance bank holuday Monday beating Lavey 8 pts to 3. Each girl gave 110% and it was a great team effort. Well done all. They will play Drumgoon on Monday eve away @7pm to hopefully secure a place in the final. 


Seniors - Juniors; Congratulations to our senior team who recorded their first victory in Division 1 in Kilcogy on Saturday night; Clg Cuchulainn 2-12, Mullahoran 0-13. We look forward to the visit of our neighbours Kingscourt Stars to Mullagh on Saturday 29th next @ 7pm.  Our junior team did not fair as well against Mullahoran but will have better days ahead. The next Junior match is against Ballinagh at2pm on Sunday 30th. Your support will be welcome.

 


SENIOR LADIES:

 Well done to our Senior ladies who beat Shercock on Sunday in a 9 a side league on a score of 5-8 to 4-5. Half time score was 3-03 each. Best for St Kilians were Lauren Carpenter, Aisleigh Mc Cabe, Rose Smith,  Ellen Smith and Una Carolan. 


 

MINORS VS NAOMH BRID.

On bank holiday Monday our minors played Naomh Brid (Drumalee - Redhills) in the last round of their league campaign in Drumalee. They won the game on a score line of 4-18 to 4-10. This win means that the team finish 3rd place in the league table which sets up a semi final meeting with Cootehill. This semi final has been scheduled to be played on the 1st of May with the venue yet to be decided. The last time these teams meet there was a 16 point win for Cootehill so our lads will need all the support that they can get.

 

The panel used in this league campaign has been:Aidan O Connell, Cathal Sheridan, Cian Martin, Conor Sheridan, Cormac O Reilly, Darren Briody, Denis Cannon, Dylan Tynan, Eoghan Donoghue, Eoghan Mc Cabe, Eoin Daly, Jack Keady, Jack Mc Cabe, Jordan Anderson, Josh Brunton, Mark Gilsenan, Michael Kenny, Oisin Carolan, Owen Doyle, Peter Flanagan, Rioghan Smith, Ryan Galligan, Ryan Lennon, Sean Kenny.

GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships. Interviews will be held in Hotel Kilmore on Saturday April 29th between 10am and 1pm for students wishing to avail of a scholarship. Membership forms can be downloaded on 'www.clgcuchulainn.com' or are available in Monaghans Shop. Please look at our website to view the variety of choices of membership.

- 'Cairde Cuchualinn' is a new  initiative to raise funds for the development of our new 8.8 acre site in Mullagh.  'Cairde Cuchulainn' membership is a new family membership choice and are intitled to club memebrship for two adult memberships and all children under 18 years, 2 annual lotto tickets, free pass into all home games, free refreshements at home games and one item of 'Cairde Cuchulainn' clothing.

Annual Lotto Tickets; The new 2017 Annual Lotto season commenced on April 1st.  Annual lotto tickets can be purchased from club officials or can be collected in Monaghans Shop. Club officals will be in contact with 2016 Annual Lotto holders witihin the next few weeks.

 

North-East Cryospa; The North East Cryospa in Mullagh Sports Centre is officially open and available for use. This modern salinised ice bath has proven to be an excellent facility in assisting recovery post exercise for many professional and amateur sportspeople around the world.  Many local sportsmen and women have reported significant benefits from using this facility since it first opened in May 2016.
