Drumlane GAA Club Lotto Results: The Lotto Jackpot for Tuesday 18/4/2017 was €3,100. The numbers drawn were 12, 19, 20, 21.  There was no Jackpot Winner, the €50 winners were Martin Gunn, Sean O'Dowd, Ashgrove & Seamus Brady, Milltown. The Club Executive encourages all our adult players, members & friends to play the Club Lotto as this is the main source of fundraising for Club Developments throughout the year.  Lotto Jackpot next week is €3,200.

Club Results: Congratulations to both our Under 8 & Under 10 Boys who played their Go Games Fixtures last Saturday in the Club, well done to all the players and management and a big thanks to Denn GAA Club who provided the opposition. Our U12 Boys team made it two wins from two games with a 7-03 to 4-06 win over Templeport, our Under 16 Boys were beaten by Drumloman Gaels in their Division 1 league game on a score line of 0-14 to 1-07, our ladies under 17 team lost out in a high scoring game to Templeport by 6-13 to 0-17 while both our men's senior teams suffered narrow defeats to Shercock & Belturbet over the weekend in their respective league fixtures.

Club Fixtures for the coming week: On Tuesday 25th the U12 Boys v Killashandra away at 7.00pm,  the U16 Boys play v Crosserlough away at 7.00pm (Please note game changed fromWednesday evening) and the Girls U17 team are due to face v St Josephine's at 6.45pm at a venue TBC. On Friday 28th  the Drumlane Ladies are due to play their Top 4 Semi-final in the 9-a-side league at 7.00pm venue TBC and our U14 girls v Templeport at 7.00pm venue TBC. Please keep an eye out for fixture updates for all our teams on the Drumlane Facebook page throughout the week, especially for fixtures involving our senior teams. We wish all our teams the best of luck in their forthcoming fixtures.

Gaeltacht Scholarships: Interviews for the Gaeltacht scholarships take place this Saturday 29th April in the Hotel Kilmore from 10.00am until 1.00pm. Please contact Geraldine Duggan 0868551477 at the county board for more details.

First Aid: Anyone in the club or community who would be interested in becoming a club first aider, please contact Dan Brady immediately. Please note that there is a minimum number required to host this course so if you are interested please do not hesitate to register your interest.

Juvenile Games: All teams from U6 up to seniors, girls and boys must wear a gumshield when playing matches. This is now compulsory and referees will be checking teams when they go out on the field to play. Please encourage your children/players to get into the habit of wearing their gumshield to training.

Feile Fundraising Morning: A huge thank you to all who helped out and supported our Feile Fundraising morning on Saturday 22nd April at the Club pitch. It was a great success and this will help both our teams greatly as they prepare to take part in National Feile which is coming to the Community on the weekend from the 23rd to the 25th of June which will be a big weekend for the whole Parish.

New Club Bags: New Drumlane Club Bags are now available, all interested parties should contact Amanda or Maura. Cost of the bags are €25 for Adult and €22 for Juvenile bags.

St Josephs Minors: St Josephs will play Kingscourt in their Division 2 League semi-final on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May @ 2pm,  venue yet to be confirmed.

St Josephs GAA Club Crest: St Josephs GAA Club are running a competition to design a crest which will proudly represent the club going forward. The competition is open to all members young and old from the Arva, Drumlane & Killashandra clubs. Their will be prizes for the best entry under 16 and over 16 entrants with the overall winners design used as a base for the new Club crest, so lets get creative.
