Denn GFC Club Notes

Blotto
The Blotto Draw took place on Monday 20th March. The winning numbers were 12,16,27,28. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of €25 were Kevin McConnell Pullakeel, Michael Mulligan Lacken, John A Smith Drumavaddy, Oliver Ferguson, Denn Development. The next draw will be on Monday 27th March in The Tank. Jackpot is now €3,100.

Reserve ACFL
Round 1 of the Reserve ACFL Division 2 will commence on Saturday March 25th. Denn will play in Division 2 along with Killygarry, Cootehill, Shercock, Bailieborough, Killinkere, Ballymachugh & Cornafean. The first game will be away to Cornafean on Saturday 25th March at 5pm. Round 2 will be on Saturday 1st April against Shercock in Shercock at 6pm.

ACFL Division 2
ACFL Division 2 will commence with Round 2 on Saturday 8th April against Drumlane in Drumlane at 6pm. Round 3 will be played on Saturday 15th April against Laragh Utd at 6pm in St Matthews Park, Crosskeys.

Juvenile Fundraising Quiz
The Juvenile committee of Denn GFC would like to thank everyone who supported the Table Quiz in aid of our Under 14 Feile team on Thursday night last. A special word of thanks to Brian & Annmarie Boylan for the use of their premises and all those who gave spot prizes for the raffle and helped out in any way to make the night such a great success. 

Club Membership
2017 Club Membership is now due. In order to be entitled to the rights of a full member including having a vote at the AGM, a person must have their fees paid to the club prior to the March 31st deadline. Rates remain the same as in 2016. Adult membership is E40 and Student / Under 18 is E20. Anyone that uses the club's facilities, even if it is only walking around the pitch must be fully paid up members to be insured. Social membership is also available for both individuals and families. Individual social membership costs E15 and Family social membership costs E30. Contact any committee member.

Castlerahan/Denn Ladies Football Club
Registration is taking place for the year in B.J.D. Clubrooms between 7pm-7:30pm on Tue 22nd March. New players wishing to register to play football for the coming year can contact Ciara 086-1073128 or Sinead 087-9195394. Registration for U10 is €20 and all others €35. 

Denn GFC Monthly Meeting
The monthly meeting of Denn GFC will take place on Friday 31st March at 8pm in the clubrooms. All members are asked to attend.

Minor Presentation
The presentation of medals to the Minor League winning teamof 2016 will take place on Friday 31st March in the Carraig Springs at 9.30pm.

Sliabh Glah Drama Group
The Sliabh Glah Drama Group are back better than ever with the hilarious farce "Holiday Snap" in Drumavaddy Community Centre on Friday 24th March & Saturday 25th March at 8:30pm. Don't miss it.

Feile Peil na nOg 2017
Feile Peil na nOg Under 14 All Ireland competition will be taking place from Friday 23rd of June until Sunday 25th June 2017. The competition will be taking place in Cavan, Monaghan and Fermanagh. The Denn boys Under 14 Team will be participating in this prestigious competition, in where they will host a visiting club on that weekend, with the visiting club yet to be confirmed. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Under 14s to participate in competition, meet new friends, and have an opportunity to have a great weekend of fun and enjoyment. There will be a few upcoming fundraisers for the Feile Competition, so please support these fundraisers where possible. Denn GFC are looking for families to host one or two young people on Feile weekend. Underage Competitions
Under 16
The Under 16 League will commence on Wednesday 5th April. Denn will play in Division 2 along with Bailieborough, Blackwater Gaels, Castletara, Killygarry, Knockbride, Ramor Utd & Trinity Gaels. Round 1 is against Killygarry on Wednesday 5th April at 7pm in St Matthews Park, Crosskeys.
Under 14
The Under 14 League will commence on Friday 12th May. Denn will play in Division 3 along with Naomh Brid, St Finbarr's, St Joseph's, Belturbet, Knockbride, Laragh Utd & Munterconnacht Maghera. Round 1 is against Knockbride on Friday 5th May in Knockbride at 6.45pm.
Under 12 Spring League
The Under 12 Spring League will commence on Tuesday 11th April. Denn will play in the Green Group along with Arva, Ballinagh, Ballymachugh, Cavan Gaels, Gowna & Laragh Utd. Round 1 is against Gowna on Tuesday 11th April at 7pm.

Kellogg's Cúl Camps 
Kellogg's Cul Camps will be held in Denn from 24th - 28th July 2017.

Couch to 5K
Denn GAA Juvenile Football Club Couch to 5K is ongoing. Personal trainer Donal Briody will continue to be onsite. Classes continue every Tuesday and Thursday night from 8pm - 9pm. Everyone welcome - all ages, walkers, joggers, runners. The cost is just membership and E2 per session. Registration is E10. New members welcome.
