Blotto
The Blotto Draw took place on Monday 16th January. The winning numbers were 1,5,12,22. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of €25 were Tara & Shannon Tierney, Caoimhe Skinnader, Fiona Walsh Lismeen Lower, M.R.C.S McCabe, Denn Development. The next draw will be on Monday 23rd January in The Den. Jackpot is now €2,650. Denn GFC Blotto can now be played online at www.smartlotto.ie.
Denn Juvenile AGM
The AGM of the Denn Juvenile Club will take place on Friday 20th January at 8.30pm in the Denn GFC Clubrooms. All parents are asked to attend. Anyone who is interested in coaching an underage group in 2017 is asked to contact Juvenile Secretary Marie Collins by Thursday evening on 0863781521.
Denn GFC AGM
The 2016 AGM of Denn GFC took place on Saturday 7th January in Drumavaddy Community Centre. Chairman Brendan O'Reilly addressed the members and thanked the committee for their work throughout the year. The Secretary's Report was given by Geraldine Lynch and the Treasurer's Report was given by Sean Smith. Three committee members stepped down from their positions, PRO Marianne Cahill , Cultural Officer Clare Brady & Coaching Officer Michael McSherry. One new committee member was welcomed on board, Coaching Officer Michael McSherry was replaced by Donnacha Brady. The club would like to thank all three for the hard work and commitment to the club over the last number of years and wish Donnacha the best of luck in his new role going forward and also to all the serving members for their continued hard work and support. The following officers were elected: Chairman: Brendan O'Reilly, Vice-Chairperson: Carina McGinnell, Secretary: Geraldine Lynch, Assistant Secretary: Caoimhe Cusack Smith, Treasurer: Sean Smith, Assistant Treasuer: Paul Callaghan, PRO: Marianne Cahill, Registrar: Stephen McPartland, Cultural Officer: Clare Brady, Youth & Coaching Officer: Donnacha Brady, Insurance Officer: Bernard Smith. The Club also wish to welcome Raymond Smith as our new senior football manager and wish him and his management team all the best for the upcoming 2017 League & Championship campaigns.
Camogie
Denn Camogie Club would like to thank everyone who help make their presentation night and fundraiser a great success. Special thanks to Mary Reilly, Laura Greene, Reilly Family, Mad for Trad, Daniel Fox, Rachel & Aisling McEnroe, Emer Tierney, Orla McCabe, Webber School of Dancing, Regina White, Kate O"Brien, Virginia Gospel Choir and the Camogie Girls for their grand finale. Thanks to our MC on the night Stephen Brady, Jimmy Heaslip on sound, Michael & Noleen Galligan, Dave Curran, Marie Collins, Lizzie Brady, Fr. Oliver Reilly, Catherine Gaynor and everyone who was involved. Thanks to those who attended, bought tickets, donated spot prizes for the raffle and finally thanks to Donal Keogan & Michael Bernard Hyland for their kind donations to our club.
Anglo Celt 2016 Sports Awards
Denn GFC Legends Tournament Committee have been nominated in the Outstanding Achievement Category in the Anglo Celt 2016 Sports Awards. This is a great achievement and we congratulate the committee on their nomination. Voting details will be in the Anglo Celt in the next few weeks.

Couch to 5K
Denn GAA Juvenile Football Club Couch to 5K is back again following the Christmas break. Personal trainer Donal Briody will continue to be onsite. Classes continue every Tuesday and Thursday night from 8pm - 9pm. Everyone welcome - all ages, walkers, joggers, runners. The cost is just membership and E2 per session. Registration is E10. New members welcome.
