Cork SHC: Newtownshandrum leave it late

There was late drama in the Cork SHC at Glantane today as Newtownshandrum staged an incredible comeback to beat Bishopstown 0-21 to 1-15.
Newtown were trailing by eight points with 15 minutes remaining as Mark O'Driscoll struck the game's only goal to give Bishopstown a 1-15 to 0-10 lead in this Group B tie.
However, Bishopstown, who were 0-12 to 0-9 ahead at half time, failed to score for the remainder of the contest. Newtown took complete control in the latter stages to hit eleven points without reply with Tim O’Mahony and Jamie Coughlan edging them in front in injury time.
In Group C at Caherlag, Carrigtwohill and Na Piarsaigh couldn't be separated as it finished 1-17 apiece.
