Oskars

Belturbet Rory O’Moores are embarking on their most ambitious fundraising initiative yet, THE OSKARS!!

With over €500,000 spent already on providing a state of the art sports facility for the whole community, which includes 2x All Weather sports fields and a 1.5km walking/running track, which serves girls and boys, men and women, we now want to finish the job we started!

We have plans to install a sports stand to match our fine facilities and to put a quality tarmacadam finis...h on the car park at approx. €100,000!!!

To do this, we need your help! To solidify the GAA clubs position in our community and to future proof our club and facilities for the next generation, WE NEED TO INVEST!!

That’s why we plan to host The OsKaRs!, which is a Hollywood type event! It involves 70/80 people from within and outside our community training once a week in the basics of T.V. acting. All participants are casted into different movies. Each movie is approx. 10mins long and will see each participant act out well known scenes from popular movies! All a bit of fun!

The good news is that all the work is done in advance of the night! The movies are then premiered at our very own OsKaRs event. Don’t be scared! There is something for everyone, whether it is centre stage, quietly in the back, or perhaps a ‘producer’ helping to organise a film!

When: Saturday 28th December (but the work is done over a month before this)

Where: Slieve Russell Hotel

Who: YOU! We want everyone to get involved, whether you have an interest in football or not!

This will be a fun, community based event which will live long in our memories! If you don’t want to act, we still need your help! There is something for everyone so please get involved in one way or another! WE WANT YOU! If you want to act, help, or sponsor, there is something for everyone:
