U13 GIRLS

Our 13 girls played Lavey in round 2 of division 2 on Thursday evening in Cross.  The girls had an impressive start to the game winning a lot of pocession and passing the ball very well which resulted in scoring two early goals and at half time went in winning by 4 points,

Cuchulainns 2 - 2  Lavey 0 - 4.

In the second half the girls continued in impressive style scoring a further 3 goals and 5 points, credit to all the girls who gave 100% and were well deserved winners with a score line of  Cuchulainns 5 - 7, Lavey 1 - 6.

Well done to the girls who now have two wins out of two in this championship .

Mullagh Sports Partnership Development:

Work behind the scene has continued on all fronts with regards to our proposed new development.

- We are awaiting confirmation on the relocation of an ESB substation on the Mullagh town side of our site. This is essential to accommodate our proposed plans.

- The tendering process for the development of a new adult pitch has commenced.

We plan to commence work this Spring and have this pitch ready for action in the Summer of 2020.

- The planning for a biodiversity walkway around the perimeter of the site is under progressing. We are in the process of receiving tenders from consultants interested in producing a feasibility study for this exciting project.

You will be able to view aerial images of the site via our social media and website soon.
