Senior;

East Cavan Gaels 1-09 Cootehill 0-13.

The proverbial “game of two halves “ in the first round of the Senior Championship played in ideal conditions in Kingscourt on Saturday v Cootehill. A very solid first half performance was not replicated in the second as Cootehill reeled us in to win by the minimum. With lessons learned we now switch focus on to next Sunday's game v Mullahoran.

 

Under 17;

We have entered into the new Monaghan Under 17 league which will be up and running by the end of June. Fixtures next week.

Under 15;

Tain Og Under 15 league semi-final on Monday 7pm in Cloghan. We play Castleblayney in what should be an exciting game. Both sides have won Feile titles in the past year so this could be a very exciting encounter. All support both welcome and appreciated.

Under 13;

These lads are now back in training preparing for the Cavan championship. Training on Monday at 6.30 in Killann.

Under 11;

These lads head for Castleblayney on Saturday next for another challenge. No training on Friday.

Under 7/9;

Bright sunshine at last on Friday for training. Training again this Friday 6pm at the Vale unless we get a midweek game.

The week ahead;

Monday; U13 training 6.30-7.30 in Killann. U15s away in Cloghan. Seniors training 8-9 in Killann.

Tuesday;

Wednesday;

Thursday; Senior training tbc.

Friday; U7/9 training on the astro at the Vale 6-7pm. No U11 training. €3 each and water bottle please.

Saturday; U11s away in Castleblayney 2pm

Sunday; Senior Championship round 2 away to Mullahoran 1pm.
