Killian Clarke was confident Cavan would get the better of Armagh in Sunday’s replayed Ulster semi-final.

The Breffni County battled brilliantly to a long-overdue provincial final appearance and will lock horns with Donegal in the Anglo-Celt Cup decider on Sunday week.

“I knew if we performed well and put the squeeze on them and dominated the game and played from the front foot we were going to come out victors,” the Shercock clubman told The Irish Independent.

“We were probably a wee bit lethargic last week and didn't bring that energy like we know we can bring and that paid dividends.”
