LOTTO RESULTS

 

Club lotto draw took place last Thursday 18 April with a Jackpot of €9, 500.

Numbers drawn were 6, 13, 18 & 31. No Jackpot Winner

Well done to our €25 winners Abbie Smith (Carrickaboy), Michael O’Reilly (online), Averil Hayes (online) & Declan O’Reilly (c/o JP’s).

 

The lotto jackpot hits a massive €9,600 this week! A useful bit of money to upgrade the car or book that sun holiday! Tickets are available from usual outlets around the town. Don’t forget you can now play online – https://game/play/662 right up to 7 pm on the day of the weekly draw.

Thank you to everyone who supports our lotto every week.  Draw takes place every Thursday night at Club Bingo in Club Hall. Doors open for bingo at 8pm commencing 9pm.

 

SENIOR ACFL LEAGUE NEWS

Drumalee Seniors unfortunately lost their game in the fourth round of league to Ballymachugh over the Easter weekend: Drumalee 1-11 Ballymachugh 3-14

 

 

Our seniors now play Mountnugent at home in St Feilims Park this Sunday 28 April at 2pm in what is now round 6 of the league. Any changes in times or venue will be posted on our club social media.

 

RESERVE ACFL LEAGUE NEWS

The Reserve team are currently top of their group in the league after four games. They play Bailieborough away this Saturday 27 April. Times and Venue are still to be confirmed at time of writing.

U15 LEAGUE 2019

 

Naomh Brid (Drumalee /Redhills) U15’s face Denn in round 4 of the league this Thursday 25 April away in Denn at 7pm. Please see club social media for changes in time/venues.

U13 LEAGUE 2019

 

Hard luck to Naomh Brid (Drumalee/Redhills) U13’s who lost out to Killinkere in their first outing in the league last week. It was a great game of football. Naomh Brid 4-8 v Killinkere 6-8. Best of luck to the team in the next round where they are away to Cornafean on Tuesday 23 April at 7pm. Please see club social media for any changes in times or venue.

 

 

 

JUVENILE TRAINING

There have been great numbers turning out for underage training every Saturday morning with U7’s training in the sports complex and U9’s out on Drumalee pitch over the last few weeks.

U9’s kick off their Go Games season this weekend against Drumlane away Miltown. Please can all parents check parent’s messages for confirmation of times.

U 7 training continues at 10.30 am in Sport Hall. Weather depending, training may go out on the pitch, so please check club messages later in week. A word of thanks to all our underage coaches who give so willingly of their time every Saturday morning, it is greatly appreciated by the children, parents and the club.

Drumalee GAA Underage cater for boys & girls from 4 years upwards. Our Underage section offer a friendly, safe, and fun environment to learn the skills of Gaelic Football & to make new friends. DRUMALEE GAA- CUL CAMPS 2019

Drumalee GAA Kellogg’s Cul Camps take place this summer from 15 July- 19 July. This week is always a great week to learn new skills and make new friends at our wonderful facilities at St Feilims Park Drumalee. Cost is €60 for first child, €55 for second child and €45 for subsequent children, all participants receive kit pack which includes jersey and training top with backpack which are included in the cost.

BOXERCISE CLASSES

Boxercise Classes are now taking place in the Club Hall with Boxercise Cavan. Class times are Tuesday evenings 7.30pm, Thursday evenings 6.30 pm & Saturday mornings at 10.30 am. All fitness levels. Pay as you go €5 per class. Contact Boris – 087-7994929 for further information.

 

CLUB MEMBERSHIP/ REGISTRATION

Any outstanding club registrations fees for both senior and underage levels should now be urgently paid to team representatives or our club treasurer Carmel O’Neill. Any Friends of Drumalee subscriptions can be paid to club treasurer also. Thank you.
