The scoreline does not reflect the huge effort from the lads in the league final played in perfect conditions in Mullagh on Sunday. Holding the Senior champions to just two point from play was impressive over the hour. The little bit of cuteness that is needed at this level will come in time but the workrate over the hour was very impressive and although Mullahoran were deserving winners on the day they had to work very hard for the victory. Also a great achievement to reach the league final in our first season of adult league hurling.

The lads now move swiftly on to the Monaghan reserve league where their first game is away to Monaghan Harps this coming Thursday at 7.30.

U13/15/17;

The U13s gave a good account of themselves in Carrick on Monday last on what were dreadful weather conditions for flowing hurling. This young side is learning all the time. The next round is at home on 29th v Cootehill. Training Monday 6.30-7.30 in Killann.

The U15 game v Mattock was postponed to this coming Saturday in Collon at 4.30 with the following round v North Meath on 6th May. Training Monday 6.30-7.30 in Killann.

Our now annual table quiz, which raises much needed funding will take place on Friday May 3rd in Nixys The Square Bar, Bailieborough at 9pm. This is a great social event with some good prizes and a good night out in support of the club.
