Club Membership 2019 

On reviewing the club membership fees the club executive have agreed the present club membership fees are not in line with other GAA clubs in the county and throughout the region. Our club presently caters for boys & girls from U-6’s up to adult teams and provide facilities not matched by most clubs. We as a club provide excellent coaches at all levels with a part time coach employed within the primary schools. Presently the cost to finance the club per annum is in the region of €130,000 with approximately €30,000 raised by our club lotto with the balance raised through other different sources. In reviewing the club membership going forward the following rates has been agreed.  

An Chairde Realta Dunari Family membership = €240 per year {Direct debit €20 per month x 12 months}  This includes full family membership, player insurance, season ticket holder for all home league matches in all grades, 3 lotto tickets per week and 5% discount of all club merchandise ordered on registration day only. An Chairde Realta Dunari Single membership = € 144 per year {Direct debit €12 per month x 12 months} This includes single person membership, player insurance, season ticket holder for all home league matches in all grades and 1 lotto tickets per week. This is applicable to all playing members over the U-20 age level. Adult Players – All players over 20 years old - €120 or single membership of An Chairde Realta Dunari as above.   Students (with valid Student Card) - €75. Juvenile players = U-6’s - U-11’s = €50 per player.   U-13’s - U-20’s = €75 per player {Includes students}.                                   

Adult non playing members incl OAP’s = €50 

Camogie 

It is hoped that a juvenile Camogie club will be formed in Kingscourt in the coming year. There will be an information evening for parents/players and anyone who wishes to volunteer this Tuesday 13th November in Kingscourt Stars club rooms at 8pm. Representative from the county board and Camogie association will be in attendance to provide further details. All welcome 

Seniors 

Thanks to outgoing senior manager Peter McKeon, selector Barry McArdle, and trainer Fra McPhillips for all their hard work this past season. A new management team will be selected for next year. 

U20s 

Another draw for our U20s last Sunday. Full time Castlerahan : 2-8 Kingscourt Stars 1-11. Next game V Cúchulainns at home next Saturday at 6pm. All support welcome 

Annual General Meeting 

Our AGM will be held on Friday November 30th at 8pm. Everyone who has an interest in our club is invited to attend – players, members, ladies members, juvenile mentors and parents. New members also welcome. There are a number of Officers roles to be filled so now is the time to have your say! Outgoing officers include chairman, Phil Smith, vice chairman David Burke, Development Officer, Colm Kieran 

Shortlist 

We have been shortlisted for the Ulster GAA Club Ground Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at the Ulster GAA President’s Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 29th November in the Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena where the winners will be announced. Well done to all involved! 

Lotto
