Senior Ladies

Hard luck to our Senior Ladies who were defeated by 4-9 to 0-13 by Ballymachugh on Friday evening last in their second round clash of the Intermediate Championship.

 

Senior Men

Our Senior Men were defeated by 1-12 to 0-9 by Ballyhaise in the opening round of the Intermediate Championship in St.Felim's Park, Drumalee on Sunday last. Belturbet: Cian Vaughan, Luke Smith, Peter Shannon, Kevin McConnell, Shane Fitzpatrick, Stuart Dunne, John Cahill, Mark Teevan, Cormac Donohoe(0-1), Enda Henry(0-3 1f), Niall O'Reilly, Niall Lawlor, Conor Vaughan(0-2), Eoin McGuigan(0-3), Conal McGinley. Subs: Mark Lawlor, Donal McDonald, Killian Murray, Jason O'Reilly. Our Seniors take on Killeshandra in Round 2 of the Championship this Saturday August 11 at 7.30 p.m in O'Connell Park, Milltown.

The club would like to wish our Senior Player and Cavan Gaels Manager Jason O'Reilly the best of luck in their Senior Championship campaign which they commence this Friday as they look to defend their title won last year.

Our U11s take on Drumlane in O'Connell Park, Milltown tomorrow evening Thursday at 7.30 p.m

 

McCaugheys Fuels Kit for Clubs

Belturbet GFC are running with this initiative for the Juvenile Clubs with McCaughey Fuels of Clones. Please help to spread the word to family, friends and neighbours and help us get kit and gear for our underage. With Each Heating Oil Delivery the club will receive 1 token. More details are contained in the posters on club facebook and twitter accounts. There is a box in Gala in town to leave tokens in  and they can also be given to club members.

 

Club Membership
Many thanks to all who have paid their Membership and to those who are on Direct Debit, it is badly needed and much appreciated as it is going directly into the account for the much needed re-development of our club grounds which are underway at present.  Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club.    Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet. This will entitle members to free entry into all Belturbet games at underage and senior level as well as having their name entered into the weekly club lotto draw. If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2018 can be returned  to our club chairman Mark Lawlor, Secretary Paul O'Reilly, Treasurer Alan Traynor or indeed any of the club committee.
