There is a lot of work planned to improve our grounds which will benefit all players.

Juveniles

Our U12s took part in the Ciaran Crosby Cup in Meath Hill last Saturday. Four teams took part - Kingscourt, Meath Hill/ Drumconrath, Moynalty and St. Michael's of Carlanstown/ Kilbeg. Kingscourt and Meath Hill/ Drumconrath both won their first two games, and played each other for the Cup. Meath Hill/Drumconrath put in a great performance but a strong Kingscourt team came away victorious. Moynalty won the shield final. Thanks to Meath Hill for the wonderful hospitality and to David Crosby for presenting the prizes, including a medal for his own son Darragh who was playing in this competition for Kingscourt for the first time, and to the Kingscourt coaches Brendan and Larry McCormack. Cross field day took place on Bank Holiday Monday. Our U10 boys played Castlerahan, St. Jude's from Dublin & Lavey in the group stages. We won the first two games and lost to Lavey in the last game, finishing second in the group. We then played Cuchullains in the semi final of the cup, setting up a final appearance against Lavey again, where the Kingscourt boys won by five points. Thanks to David Morris & Gabriel Patterson who were the coaches, and congratulations boys!
