Men's senior amd reserve

 

Our reserve team travelled to Kilnaleck on Saturday evening last to take on Crosserlough . The came away with a 5 point defeat. 

On Sunday afternoon Arva were visitor

s to Mulrick for a ACFL div1 round 3 fixture after a close first half in windy conditions with Gowna playing into the wind the teams went in all square Gowna 1_4  to  7pts Arva Gownas goal Coming  from Oisin Pearson. The second half saw Gowna put in a very strong performance to win on a scoreline of 3_11 to 10 points .

 CONGRATULATIONS to our U14 boys team who won the Cavan Feile competition this evening and now go on to represent Cavan & Gowna in the All-Ireland Feile competition in Down, Louth & Meath, on weekend commencing 29th June. WELL DONE & GOOD LUCK.

 

 

Gowna Ladies

 

The senior ladies have reached the 9 a-side league Final after defeating Killygarry on Sunday the 15th of April. Final Score: Gowna 5.8 Killygarry 3.12.

The Final takes place next Sunday the 22nd of April against Lurgan in the 3G pitch, Cavan. Time TBC.

 

U-16 girls defeated Ballyhaise on Sunday 15th. Final Score: Gowna 3.10 Ballyhaise 2.11.
