Sympathy

Gala Presentation Night

On this Friday the 23rd of February the club are holding a dinner dance in The Hotel Kilmore to celebrate the fantastic year our senior footballers had in 2017, going unbeaten in Cavan and getting to our first Ulster final in 40yrs. The players from the successful senior championship, league and reserve league teams will receive their medals on the night along with a few other surprise presentations . MC for the night is Owen McConnon and music is by Cozy and Philomena. A lovely dinner and a great club night awaits so we'd love as many as possible to come to honour the lads efforts of 2017. Tickets are only €40 each and are available from Maudis, The Slieve Rossa, Smiths Footwear and Cavan Gifts.

Healthy Clubs

 

Our Monday night walks continue until the 26th February 2018 (6 weeks) at 7p.m. from Terry Coyle Park. Walks on the 6 Mondays will be on various routes around the town, all on footpaths. We want everyone to come and join for Ireland Lights Up 2018! All are welcome to come to this event. There is no cost involved! If you are interested in taking part just come to the Gaels clubhouse at 7.00pm each Monday.

Over 50's exercise class takes place every Friday at 11.a.m. in Terry Coyle clubrooms. Everyone welcome. Also, Yoga by Katie, Mondays 10.30am to 12pm., Terry Coyle Clubrooms.  €10 drop in or €50 for 6 weeks.  Suitable for everyone.   Contact Katie 087 2944805. Bí Folláin.

 

Sigerson Cup

 

Congrats to Luke Fortune who was on the victorious UCD Team of 2018 who defeated NUIG last weekend to win the Sigerson Cup. Well done also to Tom Hayes from Cootehill.

 

Bingo

 

This Friday 23rd Feb. Bingo will take place in the Ozanam Centre at 9p.m. with a prize fund of €2170 to be won. Thanks to all our loyal bingo patrons for their continued support.

Well done to our Senior Ladies who beat St.Finbar's in the 9 a side league last Sunday on a scoreline of 3-12 to 3-6.

 

Circuit Training

 

Circuit Training for all ages and fitness levels, male and female, takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the clubrooms. All welcome.
