Eire Og manager Joe Murphy is certainly not thinking about a three in a row of county SFC titles.

The defending champions begin the defence of their title this weekend as they face Ballinabranna in the opening round of the senior football championship.

And that is the only game that Murphy is focused on at the moment when speaking to the Carlow Nationalist.

“If you don’t bring your ‘A’ game you will be beaten,” said Murphy. “Eire Og are not in a position to be casual about any challenge or any opposition.

“We genuinely have to knuckle down and prepare for that particular game and face the challenge that arises.”
