Carlow defender David English has stressed that they must battle for every point available in the Leinster SHC.
On Sunday, they host Dublin in their third round fixture as they seek their first points of the campaign.
However, speaking to the Carlow Nationalist, English believes that the tight nature of the group means they still have an eye on third place.
“It is probably going to come down to the wire for the third spot. It is really important that we pick up a couple of points against Dublin,” stated English.
“Other than that we are putting ourselves under serious pressure against Wexford.”
