New Season - Outdoor Training. 

 

Setanta Ceatharlach GAA  outdoor season commences proper on Saturday 23rd March 2019 in Presentation College, Askea from 4–5pm. Setanta cater for both Hurling and Camogie for boys and girls from the age of 4 years upwards. We are always looking for new members.

 

Note that some teams are already back training; details below:

U9 Hurling: Indoor training in CBS Carlow gym from 6-7pm on Fridays.

U10 Camogie: Outdoor training at Presentation College, Askea from 2-3pm on Saturdays.

U12 Camogie: Outdoor training at Presentation College, Askea from 2-3pm on Saturdays.

U14 Camogie: Outdoor training at Presentation College, Askea from 12-1pm on Saturdays. 

U16 Camogie: Outdoor training at Presentation College, Askea from 12-1pm on Saturdays.

 

Its important to note that anyone who wishes to train/play matches needs to be registered for insurance purposes. 

 

 

Membership & registration.

The following are the membership rates for 2019. Adult Player (€60), Youth Player (€35), Family ( Includes parents & all children) €90; Adult (general/non-playing) €35.

 

 

Please note your Club is absolutely reliant on all members paying their subscriptions. Almost all of the amounts raised through membership fees are used to pay affiliation and registration fees plus go towards the cost of the GAA insurance/players benefit scheme. Our teams simply can't take part in competitions if subscriptions are not paid.

Players will not be registered or insured until payment has been made meaning they should not be training or partaking in matches.  Payment should be made by 31st March 2019 for 2019 season.

 

Payment can be made by downloading/printing and filling out the relevant form from http://setantacarlow.ie/Pages/OurMembership.aspx and providing the completed form along with the relevant membership fee to Sandra Malone (Assistant-Treasurer) on training nights (or any other Executive Member). 

U13 Hurling.

 

 

 

 

The U13 Hurling group have been busy since January. First up the group took part in the Carlow GAA U13 Indoor Pul Pella where they topped their group and qualified for the Division 1 Puc Pella Finals in early February. Since late February the boys have been involved in the Leinster GAA U13 Cross County League where they played St. James GAA (Wexford) and are due to play Kilmore Askamore (Wexford) on Sat 9th March and St. Patricks (Wicklow) on Sun 10th March. The boys will then have a brief rest until the Carlow U13 League commencess on Mon 15th April.

Hurling Competitive Fixtures.

The following dates have been supplied by Coiste as the start dates for the Carlow Hurling competitive matches in 2019.

 

U11 Hurling: Sat 7th April, U13 Hurling: Mon 15th April, U17 Hurling: Mon 25th March.
