Dublin duo Sean Currie and Lee Gannon will both miss tonight's Leinster U21HC quarter-final clash against Carlow due to the Leaving Cert.
Currie - who bagged a hat-trick of goals in the opening round victory over Laois - was expected to line out in attack alongside Gannon at Netwatch Cullen Park, but they will be concentrating on their exams instead.
Manager Paul O'Brien has made four changes in personnel from the side that started the 4-16 to 1-10 win at O'Moore Park two weeks ago as Fergal Whitely joins fellow senior panellist Donal Burke on the injury list.
Defender Donnacha Ryan also misses out while Shane Howard, David Keogh, Eoghan Dunne and Cian O'Sullivan are all called up.
Dublin (Leinster U21HC v Carlow): Dara Perry; Cian Hendricken, Shane Howard, Paddy Smyth; Eoghan Conroy, Conor Burke, Daire Gray; Johnny McGurk, David Keogh; Ciaran Dowling, Eoghan Dunne, Ronan Hayes; Colin Currie, Cian O'Sullivan, Paul Crummey.
