Tipperary camogie star Nicole Walsh has been wished a speedy recovery after she suffered a neck injury in last night's All-Ireland senior championship clash with Waterford at The Ragg.

The match was abandoned by Cork referee Andrew Larkin with three minutes remaining after the Borris-Ileigh player fell heavily as she challenged for a dropping ball. After being treated on the pitch for several minutes, Nicole was removed to hospital by ambulance.

Waterford were leading by 1-15 to 0-14 when the decision was made to abandon the game, which will be re-fixed for a later date.
