Roscommon under-17 manager Liam Tully believes that the players' honesty has earned them a place in the inaugural All-Ireland final.

The Connacht side will take on Tyrone in the decider at Croke Park on Sunday in the first of a triple header at GAA headquarters.

Impressing throughout the campaign, Roscommon go into Sunday's final in a confident mood having defeated Kerry in the semi-final.

And Tully told the Roscommon Herald that there is one key ingredient that has stood the squad really well throughout this year's campaign.

"The management and the players believe in honesty. If some fella can't come training for a good reason, that's okay. A lot of the lads have jobs and we work around times that suits them," said Tully.

"We haven't put a massive demand on them. As a management team, we have been reasonable but the players, in return have been honest. You can't ask for any more from young lads."
