Kerry keeper Deividas Uosis is about to clear his lines against Louth in the All Ireland MFC quarter final at Portlaoise

Kerry's All-Ireland MFC four-in-a-row bid remains on course.

The Kingdom got the better of Louth by 1-22 to 2-9 in today's quarter-final at Portlaoise.

The Munster champions issued a statement of intent early on when racing into a 1-5 to 0-1 lead after just 11 minutes of play.

Donnchadh O'Sullivan netted their goal and they proceeded to dominate the first-half exchanges but the Wee County were thrown a lifeline when Ciaran Keenan cancelled out O'Sullivan's effort just before the interval.

Kerry took a 1-11 to 1-5 lead into the break and, despite conceding a second Louth goal to Eoghan Callaghan, they ran out 10 point winners.

Captain David Clifford sent over nine points for the winners and Peter Keane's charges will now face the winner of Galway versus Cavan in the last four at Croke Park on Sunday, August 20.
