Stephen Cluxton will break the record for the most championship appearances this weekend.
When the peerless Dubs goalkeeper togs out against Monaghan at Croke Park on Sunday, he will be making his 89th appearance in the dark blue jersey.
As things stand, the Dublin captain is level with retired Kerry siblings Tomas and Marc O Se on 88 appearances apiece (having played in 76 successive championship matches), with Tyrone's Sean Cavanagh - who's also playing on Saturday - just one behind.
Parnells clubman Cluxton (35), who has redefined the role of a goalkeeper in gaelic football, is in his 17th intercountry season. He has won 13 Leinster titles and four All-Irelands, captaining his county to eleven major pieces of silverware so far.
