Kildare manager Cian O'Neill has stressed that the must improve from what they learned in last Sunday's Leinster SFC final defeat to Dublin.

The Lilywhites produced a decent display against the all-conquering Dubs, but ultimately it wasn't enough to dethrone the seven-in-a-row champions.

It was another learning curve for Kildare under O'Neill and he feels that they must use what they have learned from the defeat to Dublin for their All-Ireland SFC qualifier clash against Armagh on Saturday week.

"All we can do is look after ourselves and try to be better. I think there has been a big improvement within out set up from last year to this year; hopefully you'd like to see another improvement from this year to next year," O'Neill told the Leinster Leader.

"I think playing in Division One will help us because you will be exposed to top teams every single week."
