Team news: Harrison fit to start for Mourne men

July 14, 2017

Down's Connaire Harrison and Drew Wylie of Monaghan

The selection of Connaire Harrison at full-forward has given Down a boost going into Sunday's Ulster SFC final clash against Tyrone.

The Glasdrumman clubman was forced off with a hamstring injury after scoring three points in a man-of-the-match performance against Monaghan last month. But the news is not so good for fellow forward Barry O'Hagan who misses out due to a shoulder injury he suffered on club duty.

Meanwhile, there is just one change in personnel from the semi-final win in Armagh three weeks ago with Joe Murphy replacing Peter Turley in the half-forward line.

Down (Ulster SFC final v Tyrone): Michael Cunningham; Niall McParland, Gerard McGovern, Darren O'Hagan; Darragh O'Hanlon, Conaill McGovern, Caolan Mooney; Kevin McKernan, Niall Donnelly; Joe Murphy, Conor Maginn, Shay Millar; Jerome Johnston, Connaire Harrison, Ryan Johnston.
