Armagh have recalled defender Mark Shields in the only change for tomorrow's All-Ireland SFC Qualifier meeting with Tipperary in Thurles.

The versatile Whitecross clubman, who has been dogged by injuries in recent seasons, wears the number four jersey ahead of Aaron McKay whom he replaced during last weekend's 1-12 to 1-7 victory over Westmeath.

Despite being reduced to 14-men after substitute Gregory McCabe was sent-off, the Orchard County showed great resolve to dig out a 1-12 to 1-7 win in Mullingar with another sub Ethan Rafferty scoring a crucial goal in injury time.

Kieran McGeeney's men will look to avenge their league defeat to the Premier County at the Athletic Grounds in April when a last-gasp Michael Quinlivan goal saw Tipperary claim promotion at Armagh's expense.

Armagh (All-Ireland SFC v Tipperary): Blaine Hughes; James Morgan, Charlie Vernon, Mark Shields; Paul Hughes, Brendan Donaghy, Aidan Forker; Stephen Sheridan, Niall Grimley; Ciaran O'Hanlon, Anthony Duffy, Rory Grugan; Jamie Clarke, Andrew Murnin, Gavin McParland.
